Merry Christmas!

Christmas is just 2 days away. I'm not sure where the time went and I sure as heck can admit that while I missed blogging these past couple of weeks, the time spent making memories and working on Christmas projects was well worth the unintentional break.

No it hasn't always been fun. Case in point the kids decided mid making cut out cookies that they wanted to go play outside. Sure it's been stressful. Sometimes I need to take my own words of advice and apply them to my own life like I did here. I honestly despite my best intentions over did it in some areas. Who needs 4 different advent activities? Us apparently.

All that aside I have enjoyed watching movies and playing games with my family. It's been a much slower schedule than in years past and I find myself appreciating it. The simplicity is refreshing. I have new ideas for next year to simplify the holidays even more.

As this holiday season starts to wind to a close I hope you and yours have a magical, glorious, Christmas (or Hanukkah, or Kwanzaa, etc)! I'll be back next week to start talking about 2016 and some of what I'm planning or have implemented to help me be more organized in the new year.

Merry Christmas from our family to yours!
